The drinks reception
A drinks reception rarely mixes on its own. Guests gravitate to the handful of faces they recognise and settle there, and the room stays in quiet pockets until dinner is called. This is precisely where SJ works. He draws strangers into the same small circle, places a signed card or a borrowed ring into someone's hand, and gives them something none of them can account for. He is gone before the conversation is, and the people he introduced are still talking to each other an hour later.
The wedding breakfast or reception dinner

How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can. There is only one of SJ and only one of your date, and summer Saturdays tend to go well in advance. If you have the date, it is worth checking availability now, even if nothing else about the day is settled.
What does it cost?
Every wedding is different, so SJ quotes each one individually rather than working from a price list. Send him your date and he will come back within 24 hours to arrange a short call, then build a package around your running order and your guest numbers.
